Shipping, Returns and other Polices
- Shipping & Delivery
- We generally strive to ship orders within 1-3 business days. No same-day shipments are guaranteed, but feel free to contact us to see if we can get an order out faster. Shipping prices are based on live rates plus $1-$2.
- If items are back-ordered due to a mistake in stock levels on our site, we will pay the additional shipping. If an item is marked as back-ordered before checkout, the customer will need to pay the additional shipping.
- All USPS orders over $70 are insured, all FedEx shipments are insured. Please be aware that there can be a minimum amount of time before insurance can be paid for orders shipped through USPS, typically 45 days for international orders.
- Some items are flammable and can only be shipped via FedEx Ground.
- The customer is responsible for all import duties / taxes / fees. We cannot undervalue merchandise on customs forms or declare it as a gift, as this invalidates insurance and is illegal.
- Returns & Replacements
- Products in resellable condition can be returned up to 30 days after they are received. A Return Merchandise Authorization number is required for all returns. This can be requested at our contact us page.
- Insured and trackable return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, although we may cover this in some cases. If products are defective, we will provide replacements or refunds.
- Privacy & Security
- We do not sell or share any customer information--including email addresses or phone numbers--with any 3rd parties.
- IP addresses are collected to prevent abuse, and Google Analytics is used to track traffic sources.
- We do not yet use https to encrpyt websites, but we also do not collect or store any payment information. All payment information is handled by paypal.
- Payment Options
- Major credit cards are accepted through paypal. We also accept money orders and personal checks, but they must clear before orders are shipped. Net 30 is provided for approved instutitions. If approved, POs can be sent to sales@CuriousInventor.com.
- We can accept phone orders if necessary, please provide your phone number in the contact us form along with acceptable times for us to return your call.
